Free Museum Sunday in Tallinn
It is nice to get some things for free. Even if it is only once a month. Many of them are convenient to visit by bicycle.
On the first Sunday of every month, admission to the branches of Tallinn City Museum are free of charge. In order to have a smooth visitor experience, the entrance must be pre-registered. NB! Please note that not all rooms and exhibitions of each museum are open on every museum Sunday.
Museum Sundays is the initiative of Tallinn City with the aim to bring attention to the daily activities in museums and the rich cultural life of the city, and to improve the accessibility of it to both Tallinners and its visitors.
NB! On free Sundays, museums are open free of charge to individual visitors, guided group visits are not accepted on these days.
NB! From February 2023, visiting Tallinn City Museum branches on free Museum Sunday is possible only with a pre-registered free pass (choose ENG version).
Pre-registration is required due to the large audience interest in free museum Sundays. Museum visits can be booked up to 2 months in advance but in reality after every free Sunday registration is opened, so check the registration page the second week of each month.
We do recommend registering well in advance to secure your place at the favourite museum.
