RENTAL CONDITIONS
Detailed rental conditions are available in the City Bike Office. The Customer, by signing the contract, confirms that he/she is familiar with the detailed rental conditions.’
Damages to City Bike’s Property
- Customer is fully and unconditionally responsible for bicycles and other equipment rented from City Bike between the delivery by City Bike and collection by City Bike staff. In case of damage or theft, costumer is obliged to pay the value of equipment, according to City Bike prices.
Deposit
- We book 100 EUR per bike or 200 EUR for eBikes on your credit card. As soon as we have our equipment back (bike, lock, bags, anything you rented from us) and everything is ok, we release the booking.
Parking your bikes overnight
- When parking bikes for longer time (including overnight) City Bike must be stored inside, in a securely locked room. Customers are obliged to lock the bikes when leaving them unattended so, that removal of bikes by others is impossible.
Cancellation policy
- City Bike offers for tour and rental bookings 100% refund if the cancellation is sent at least 14 days before the tour/rental starting.
- Self-guided tours: below 14 days cancellations are charged 20% of package price (advance payment will not be paid back). This sum contains our staff work and office costs.
- City tours on bicycle and prebooked bicycle rentals are charged 20% of total price if canceled less than 72 hours prior to start time. Before that deadline 100% refund.
- City tours on bicycle and prebooked bicycle rentals are charged 100% of total price if canceled less than 24 hours prior to start time.
- For special events service provider may change the cancellation policy and refund is not made for cancellations made less than 90 days before the rental starting (Ironman Tallinn, Ironman Estonia, Tartu Rattaralli, Grand Fondo Estonia)
Cancellation policy for self-guided tour packages and special group tours
- City Bike offers for Self-guided tour bookings 100% refund if the cancellation is sent at least 14 days before the tour starting.
- Below 14 days made cancellations are charged 25% of package price (advance payment will not be paid back). This sum contains our staff work and office costs.
Safety
Clients may participate in our tours at their own risk. Tour participants must obey traffic regulations at all times. City Bike is not liable for injury or damage caused by willful or negligent behavior of tour participants. Participants must decide themselves if they are in an appropriate state to be able to safely complete the tour.
Accidents
If the customer is involved in a road accident, the customer must call the police to the location of the accident and request an accident registration number. This number and the details of the accident must be communicated to City Bike.
Damages
If a bike is damaged or any other problem(s) is experienced with a bike, please contact City Bike at mail@citybike.ee or call +372 5111819 during opening hours (10.00-19.00, daily).
Damages to a bike, while a bike is in the renter’s custody are the renter’s responsibility.
City Bike reserves the right to charge for the cost of damages.
The luggage carrier on the bike is not designed for transporting people and will sustain damage when doing so.

A bike is deemed “not repairable” at the discretion of City Bike and its employees.
Lock or keys damaged/lost
If the keys are lost, contact City Bike and we will provide the renter with a new set of keys or a new lock. This comes at a maximum price of 60€.
