About the Experience
Discover Tallinn beyond the Old Town with this carefully designed self-guided cycling route. The East Tallinn Loop is a favorite among cyclists, offering the perfect balance between smooth, fast riding and relaxed sightseeing.
Ride through quiet outskirts, scenic coastal roads, forest trails, and well-maintained cycling paths—all at your own pace. Whether you’re training or simply enjoying a day outdoors, this route delivers a memorable cycling experience.
What’s Included
- Road or gravel bike (it takes 2-3 hours to cover the distance but you can relax and visit sights, cafes and keep the bike up to 6 hours)
- GPX or Komoot route for your own phone or navigation device
- Phone holder
- Battery bank and pouch on handlebar, you can charge while navigating)
- Repair kit (spare tube, minipump, tire levers, multitool)
- Helmet and lock
- Bike bag for accessories (framebag)
- Bottle of water and electrolytes (if you need to disolve it on your water).
Route Highlights
Your journey begins at our rental station on Vene 33, in the heart of Tallinn.
From there, you’ll:
- Ride through the harbor area near Port of Tallinn
- Explore the elegant Kadriorg Park, palaces and museums, cafes
- Cruise along one of Tallinn’s longest cycling lanes in Lasnamäe (Soviet arhitecture)
- Head north into peaceful suburban neighborhoods
- Cycle through forest roads with fresh air and pine trees
- Return along the coastline with stunning views over Tallinn Bay
Expect a mix of urban exploration, nature, and panoramic seaside scenery.

We have about 90 trekking & touring bikes with different frame sizes. We also have trekking bikes with coastal brake (foot brake).
For those who like fast bikes, we have Merida Gravel bikes Silex 300. Bike packing gear – seatpost packs, frame bags and handlebar bags – for gravel bikes are availble for rent.

All bikes with standard pedals. For those who want to use contact pedals You can bring your own pedals (highly recommended) or you can use ours. We only have Shimano SPD and SPD SL for rent. Price is 1 EUR per day. Just make sure first we have the pedals you need.
Toolkit, lock and helmet are included to the rental price.
Ironman Tallinn special terms:
- IM period is 1 week before the race date and 3 days after
- Minimum rent is 3 days and price 150 EUR (raod bike) or 115 EUR (gravel bike with slick road tires)
- Every extra day +25 EUR
- 100% advance payment. No refunds for booked and cancelled rentals during IM (100% refund for than 45 days before the rental start).
From experience we could rent 3-4 times more bicycles for the race than we have.

City Bike has Cube e-bikes (pedelecs) for touring and forest tracks.
All bikes have 4 different power modes- eco, tour, sport and turbo. In eco mode the bikes have a range of up to 130km. In turbo mode, the range is about 50 km.
E-trekking bikes we have in different frame sizes, male and female models. For right size we need your height.
The smallest bike is in size XS, for height from 160cm.

Pannier bags:
Ortlieb Backroller Classic pannier bags, 2 in pair. Volume 20L each. Height 42 cm / 16.5 in, upper width 32 cm (12.6 in), lower width 23 cm (9.1 in), depth 17 cm (6.7 in). 100% waterproof. Quickly mounted and taken off the bike rack.
Handlebar bags:
– Ortlieb Ultimate. Height 21 cm (8.3 in), width 23.5 cm (9.3 in), depth 14 cm (5.5 in). Volume 7L. 100% waterproof. Can be rented only with our bikes. We do not rent them separately.

Rack:
- For 26-29″ bikes, also for disk breaks. Mounting to the bike is not included to the rental price, it costs extra 5 EUR per rack.
Cargo trailer:
- Bob Yak. Cargo area is roughly 64cm x 41cm x 46 cm (25″ x 16″ x 18″). Capasity 32 kg (70 lbs). Bob Dry Sak (94 L) is included to the rental price. Bag is 100% waterproof. Trailer tracks rear wheel of bicycle. Has one wheel instead of two.
Trailers for kids:
- Thule one- and twoseater trailers. Attaches to the rear wheel and also has a raincover. Best method to carry small children too young to sit in the childseat.
- WeeHoo trailer, oneseater system that is attached to the adult’s bike seatpost
- One-wheel trailers for kids 5-7yrs. Attaches to adult’s bike seatpost
